AFU Strike on Sevastopol
Early this morning (29 Apr 2023), AFU formations conducted another raid on the Crimean peninsula. 3 groups of Mugin-5 drones (at least 10 units), artificially equipped with explosives, flew from Shkolny airfield in the direction of Sevastopol, Gvardeyskoye and Yevpatoriya.

It is to be expected that these attacks will intensify these days in preparation for the offensive.

New systems have been introduced, from the Storm missile to the ADM-160 and probably more "surprises" that we have not seen yet and that have been given to Ukraine without announcing it (like the ADM).
It will take a while for Russian SAMs to learn to deal with these problems as it did with HIMARS, on the other hand, these systems are not as numerous as HIMARS and even if the right conditions are not met many of these systems have already been countered in the past.

Ukraine has launched half a dozen GROM missiles before (but not in combination with the ADM-160) and all were destroyed or affected by EW measures.

The Storm for example was destroyed by anti-aircraft measures in 2018 in Syria, it is not an invincible system, but it is VERY dangerous and will cause damage.

The Ukrainian army launched an unexpected counterattack in several sectors at once in the Artyomovsky direction

The issue of territorial defense has not been resolved - several thousand healthy men cannot find a combat use for themselves. They actively help our fighters in one way or another, the border guards. But without weapons. Their help would be very significant and helpful. Remember the events of 1999 in Dagestan. Local guys, highlanders, created volunteer units, which were headed by government representatives, local leaders. I do not want to compare and give analogies. I'm just saying it as a fact. In the Zaporozhye Direction, the AFU continues its assault actions near Pyatikhatki. The goal of the Ukrainian command is to break through to the junction of the M-18 and N-30 routes near Zelyony Gay. It is still a decent distance - almost 13 kilometres. If successful, the AFU could cut off Russian troops in Vasilyevka, which is key in every sense. The road along the bank of the Dnieper Reservoir to Energodar runs through it, as does the route to Melitopol.
The RF Armed Forces shelled Ukrainian positions in Kamenskoye, Steponoye, Novopavlovka, Orekhov, Belogorye, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Gulyaypol, Malinovka and Olgovskoye.
The AFU launched strikes against Yakimovka, Rabotino and Berdyansk.

"We call on China not to provide material assistance to Russia and its henchmen in its illegal war in Ukraine," the document distributed by Sunak's office says.

The prime ministers also confirmed their readiness to continue providing assistance to Ukraine "for as long as it takes."
