Why The Increased Military Activity At Anchorage, Alaska??? | |

Kanda, 58, disappeared Feb. 1 and last reported his position 435 miles south of Adak in the Aleutians. The Coast Guard Cutter Jarvis was originally scheduled to arrive in the search area Thursday but officers report that strong winds and rough seas will prevent it from arriving until Monday. Kanda's balloon was equipped with 20 days of food and water and a survival pod. [link to www.ktuu.com] Elmendorf might would involve itself in a civilian search and rescue campaign like this. I'm not sure what level of activity is going on up there right now but such an operation could be extremely visible and frightening to the civilians. More information as to what's being seen would be useful for further analysis if this possibility is rejected. I would suggest having your local contact phone the base and request information - they will give an explanation. That and further details are needed. If it's not a search and rescue, then perhaps there was Russian contact. The Soviets were constantly intruding upon our airspace and Elmendorf would scramble fighters to escort their aircraft back to USSR territory - it was a frequent ordeal. The Russians might have them on alert. Any knowledge of sorties, what type of aircraft have been seen departing and arriving, and direction of travel toward and away from base? AIM:kits56fa2 |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 291612 ![]() 02/08/2008 11:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Russia, since the cable cuts, has been conducting large exercises in the arctic with their bombers Considering the last time they were there they made it to within 15 miles of US Airspace with their stealth bombers (Nuclear Cruise missile capable btw) before being intercepted by fully armed US and Canadian warplanes. I imagine they are a bit keyed up at the moment as that was embarrassing... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 206814 ![]() 02/09/2008 12:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Elmendorf and Ft. Richardson are very busy places, especially Elmendorf with all its airplanes constantly buzzing around. The coastline of Alaska is huge. The Ruskies have for decades flirting with the airspace boundaries between Russia and Alaska. I would bet if there ever was a "Red Dawn" scenario, it would start in Alaska, probably around Nome, the closet point to Russia, only 50 miles separates the two. Remember Russia kicked Hitler's butt in Stalingrad - obviously they know how to fight in extremely frigid temperatures. Putin is not a fool - he's already ticked off the US because he's nationalizing his oil supplies amongst other things. He means business. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 368270From:TW To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, February 08, 2008 7:00 PM Subject: Military activity Hello Central! Military activity in Elmendorf A.F. Base, and Ft. Richardson army base, Anchorage, Alaska. Does anybody know what's going on? Those that work there are NOT talking. Lines of cars back up for miles-both coming and going. My sister lives and works near there but not on base. Security has tightened even beyond what is normal for this place. It would seem that the number of planes landing and taking off has also increased in a major way...so something seems to be up. Any help without negative attention sure would help! Thank you and bless all of you that are upon The Path to Divine Truth! TW (Response) FROM: Patrick H. Bellringer TO: TW DATE: Feb. 8, 2008 SUBJECT: Reply Dear TW: At this point I have no clue, but maybe some of our readers know or have connections to those who know the meaning of this increased military activity. In Love and Light, Patrick H. Bellringer [email protected] www.fourwinds10.com ............. anyone have any ideas????????? Peace and Love to all. Don't be alarmed its just a buildup to protect there HAARP equipment. LMFAO |

(Like moldy cheese). All they have to do is wait for the next terrorist training exercise, and attack! Hell, in 45 minutes they could penetrate U.S. Airspace all the way to Green Bay, Wisconsin. |
