I'd put my money on something to do with the elevator or HVAC. That's just my guess, I'm trained as a firefighter, but I did far, far, far more medical and technical rescue as well as a little tactical.

Man, to quote Backdraft, high rise gigs creep me out. Especially at night. We ran a call at the Williams building in Tulsa, OK at 0300ish. A janitor found down. Poor old guy had a massive MI. Short story longer, they are just flat creepy at night.

I also moonlighted as security at another big Tulsa building in college, man, creep as hell at 0200. Just eerie as hell! Three guards and we looked Shaggy, Scooby, and Mr. Chicken (Don Knotts) roaming around that place.

We had a guy hide in the women's bathroom one time and was roaming around the building trying to get into offices. Dumb bastard led us and TPD on an almost hour long chase through the building it was hilarious. Like some Farely Brothers version of Die Hard.

That dark of smoke is either diesel or a helluva lotta wire insulation on fire.

Those poor public housing residents were so cold due to inoordinate suffering caused to them by the PANDEMIC, that they had to bring their charcoal stoves inside so as not to freeze to death.


A lack of EQUITY is at fault & CAPITALISM MUST BE DISMANTLED in order to prevent such tragedies in the future.
