Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74054121 After they busted in they asked what I was doing there. I told them I live there and that I owned the place. Heard one of them say we must of got the wrong place. They all ran around the house looking through everything over about a 30 second period and then the dozen or so of them just walked out like nothing happened. Door was broke as fuck, which was not a good thing in that neighborhood either, city refused to pay to fix it. Also they went through all our drawers and cabinets and we had jewelry and money missing. I wish I could find a place with cops I could trust that aren't shady as shit. Anonymous Coward User ID: 77827349 United States 01/24/2022 01:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | All cops should be tried for murder. Cops are all bad guys! Every one of them is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. There’s always potential for your local cop to shoot you dead. You could be walking your dog at midnight, cop questions you about what you’re doing and he doesn’t like your answer so you argue and he shoots you as soon as you stand up for yourself and raise your voice. If a cop doesn’t like you he will threaten to taze you. If a cop doesn’t like you he is thinking about how to kill you and get away with it Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81413756 |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 41420505 United States 01/24/2022 01:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No knock raids came about using the pretext criminals will destroy drugs or evidence if the police knock and wait until they make contact with the resident and show the warrant as the constitution requires. It was a part of the "war on drugs" and has been going on since the late 70's. The constitution SPECIFICALLY states a search warrant must be presented before entry is made. If the police had followed the US Constitution this man would still be alive, because they would have realized they were not at the right address. So here is the question, is the possibility a small amount of drugs may be flushed down a toilet worth the danger this "policy" creates? In this case the warrant wasn't even for the dead man whose home was criminally invaded by armed trigger happy thugs. IMO at the point they made illegal entry the resident was in his legal rights to use lethal force, since it was obviously the intent of the heavily armed police to use lethal force while engaging in criminal activity.. This is EXACTLY why even if you want to see police crack down on criminals you MUST resist all acts of tyranny by them in a unified front. If you let them get the foot in the door on criminals they have it in the door on YOU. Now listen to this, according to recent laws passed in most states, if the police try to kill you for no reason the only legal choice you have is to hope they run out of ammunition before they kill you. You no longer have any RIGHT of self defense. If they break down your door in the middle of the night and you pick up a gun or have a gun in reach, they can shoot you dead, EVEN IF THEY ARE AT THE WRONG HOUSE. "He had a gun". If the police murdered me I am sure they would say I had made "social media posts against Law Enforcement", but that is not true at all. I am making posts against ONLY against what I believe to be criminal activities by police. Recent trials have backed up my judgement in several cases. And yes, I do maintain that every human being has a natural right to defend their lives and this right MUST be recognized by the courts, and the police, try to kill an innocent man and he has a natural right to strop you using whatever means are necessary . I have been arrested and assaulted several times by police on all sorts of fabricated pretexts, and never convicted of any criminal offense. I am lucky to be alive. |

It is meant to stun and disorient the residents. The resident had guns in his home but was not armed when shot. Having guns is perfectly legal for almost all citizens, which makes it seem quite odd how often the police get a pass on killing an american citizen in his own home with the simple phrase "he had a gun" |

Cops can put a place under siege for years if needed, though that's rare. They already have all the power and using power when not needed is the hallmark of a thug. Today a robot could enter the house from one side and exit the other, leaving the place wide open. No need for putting people at risk for no purpose. |
