quick dental Question
haven't been to a dentist in a few years as a result of coNvid and my dentist(one I trusted and who treated me well) retired

ever since this scamdemic began I have a new distaste for medicine -

now the enamel/porcelain seal on a crowned molar chipped and is exposing the metal crown and tastes like metal

does this need to be repaired ASAP?

I see thermoplastic as a temporary covering option but if anyone has thoughts or advice about state of dentistry in general

thanks

Re: quick dental Question
denistry needs to change. in a paper by a greek PhD in leeds uk a couple of years ago that there is a natural mechanism by which caries damage can be repaired. but if someone drills a hole and sticks something in it, natures way is blocked.

Re: quick dental Question
brush with soda.

if you can't brush, forcefully circulate water around your mouth for a minute.

If you think you are tasting metal, you actually are tasting an infection. The metal used in those crowns is tasteless, called "noble metal," because the metal does not oxidize to create a taste. If it is causing a taste, you would have tasted it before the porcelain chipped off.

Re: quick dental Question
Look for a "bio" biological dentist in your area. This is an emerging methodology that avoids many toxic dental practices and is crucial for healing. They usually cant accept insurance but also aren't overly pricy. If you are in Texas or traveling at any point, check out Dr Nunnally Freeman and Owens in Marble Falls. Best of the best

Re: quick dental Question
check out MMS, also known as Chlorine Dioxide.
Jim Humble accidentally discovered it years ago and it does amazing things for the teeth.

not necessary to take it internally, Humble outlines how to swish it through the mouth and brush your teeth with it.

it works WONDERS.

good luck!
