The photographer accused of helping MI6 to murder Princess Diana was found in a burnt-out BMW with a hole in his head, a court heard today.

James Andanson died after boasting to friends of having secretly taken "explosive" photos of the Paris crash scene, the Diana inquest was told.

The Frenchman owned a white Fiat Uno, which Mohamed Al Fayed claims he used to cause the fatal collision that killed the princess and his son Dodi.

The Harrods boss believes the photographer was planning to go public with his "involvement" in the alleged British secret service plot when his charred body was found in a forest near his home in the South of France in May 2000.

French Investigating officer Jean-Michel Lauzun told the London hearing that he arrived while the vehicle was still ablaze and saw the corpse alight at the steering wheel with a two inch hole in his left temple.

But police concluded that it was a suicide after a pathologist said the hole was due to the intense heat of the fire after he set alight to himself.

High levels of carbon monoxide was also found in his blood, suggesting Andanson was alive inside the fireball long enough to inhale fumes, rather than being killed beforehand. [OP: that's weird. High levels were also found in the blood of the driver, Henri Paul. It was this that made Al Fayed and many others suspect blood samples had been switched for an alcoholic suicide who had gasses himself.]

But Mr Al Fayed's barrister Michael Mansfield QC suggested he may have been attacked before the car was set on fire.

He said: "We just don't know whether it's a case of a man consigning himself to a bizarre and painful death or whether in fact some violence had been meted out to him first."
Four months after the August 1997 crash, Andanson had bragged to friends that he had trailed Diana's Mercedes into the Alma Tunnel where it smashed into a pillar.

Unlike other paparazzi in the chase, he claimed to have been too "cunning" to get rounded up by the police afterwards and escaped arrest.

His photos from the scene were kept hidden in a safe and would cause a furore when they were published, he insisted.

French police were later tipped off about Andanson's claims, but when they interviewed him he produced receipts to show that on the night of the crash he had been in Lignieres, 170 miles to the south of Paris.

And while he had owned a white Fiat Uno, tests showed that paint flecks on the Mercedes could not have come from it.

Mr Al Fayed claims Diana and Dodi were killed on the orders of Prince Philip because she was pregnant with his child and they were planning to marry.

Hang on. A man intent on suicide sets light to his car before shooting himself in the head? Why bother? Just in case the bullet does not kill him? LOL! Ludicrous! I don't believe it! Andanson was shot and the car set alight to make it look like suicide. He was killed because he knew what had really happened and could have talked. Come on, Mansfield, start showing us the real evidence for a murder rather than a car accident. You will never prove your case to the jury if it rests solely upon conspiratorial speculations about Diana's pregnancy and engagement (a total red herring), circumstantial evidence and interpretations that can easily be counter-argued. Start showing us some SMOKING GUNS. Ask the Queen's Private Secretary (that's if you can force him to testify on the witness stand) what he was doing in the radio communications room at the British Embassy a few minutes before Dodi's Mercedes drove away from the Ritz Hotel in Paris. Ask the two MI6 agents why they arrived in Paris a couple of days before the fateful day. It's about time, don't you think?

The original newspaper article revealing that the wireless operator had been ejected from the wireless room at the British Embassy in Paris minutes by Lord Fellowes (Diana's brother-in-law and Private Secretary to the Queen).

Questioned by Lord Stevens about this allegation, he denied he was even in France at the time. So why would a humble wireless operator make such an accusation against a bigwig like yourself if it were not true, Lord Fellowes? What do you have to hide?

Warning

Do not tell anyone before you plan on outing illuminati chicanery.

It could be dangerous to your health.

Re: Photographer accused of helping MI6 kill Diana was found dead in burnt-out BMW with a hole in his head
Reuter news, 11 Sept:

Henri Paul's mother, Giselle:

"My son was not an alcoholic, he's now paying for the personalities he was driving…. Can one imagine the Princess of Wales and Dodi Al Fayed would have agreed to get into a car driven by a drunk? Henri had the full confidence of his employer. [My son was] not depressive and was getting along perfectly. I don't need to defend him. I wish any mother could have a son like him."

There was no death certificate.

Claude Garrec, who played tennis with Paul the day of the crash:

"He didn't have the profile of an alcoholic or depressive. He always walked straight."

For chauffeur Henri Paul to have a 0.30% BAT, a level nearly requiring him to be unconscious, he would have had to have had at least twelve drinks in a one hour period (or 24 four drinks if he had eaten dinner), or at least thirteen in a two hour period, or at least fourteen in a three hour period, etc. Do you really think intelligent people like Diana and Dodi would have gotten into a car with a driver who not only could not stand up, but who probably could not even find his way to a parked car? Do you think the Fayed's would allow an alcoholic chauffeur and security director to work for them eleven years? Do you think Diana's personal bodyguard would have allowed it? Security videotape of driver Henri Paul, immediately prior to the crash, clearly does not show any intoxication. Coincidentally, a MUCH lower BAT might be much more plausible to an informed observer -- at least TEN TIMES LOWER.

Henri Paul is also alleged to have had prescription psychiatric drugs (to treat depression) in his body, yet a medical report for his flying license two days prior to the crash gave him a clean bill of health, both drug and alcohol free. His autopsy revealed no liver disease or damage whatsoever, proving he was not an alcoholic.

Security video at Ritz Carlton in Paris captures a sober Henri Paul, Dodi and Diana beginning their ride through Daley Plaza in Dallas, er, deja vu all over again. Paparazi provacateurs stalked their every move at high speed.
Henri Paul had a level of poisonous carbon monoxide in his blood of 20%—potentially a fatal dose. How did this poison get into his blood if he died instantaneously of a broken neck? Why did the other passengers not have any carbon monoxide in their blood? (OP: Umm, because their blood samples did not need to be switched with that of a carbon monoxide suicide case whose body was in the same mortuary that Diana's body was taken to?)

Henri Paul DWI autopsy:

Dr. Alan Barbour:

Blood samples drawn from heart, fluid samples from urine, eyeball and bile. Aorta ruptured. Instantaneous death (steering column stabbed chest despite airbag, as revealed in paparazzi photos). "No liver damage or signs of alcoholism." Hair analysis for past drug use allegedly showed Prozac for three months and Tiapridol for one month. "[T]he private lab under Dr. Gilbert Pepin 'mandated to do more sophisticated blood analysis' reported that Paul 'had been in a state of moderate chronic alcoholism for a minimum of one week (the limit of the test's reliability).' This strikes me as an extraordinary statement (perhaps 'fantastic' would be a better adjective). Absent compelling evidence for the reliability of the testing (whatever it was) one must completely discount the statement, in my opinion."

"A switched blood sample? The mix of antidepressants, alcohol, and CO [carbon monoxide] 'found' in HP's [Henri Paul's] blood is typical of a suicide by exhaust gas inhalation, who are frequently depressed, taking antidepressants, and typically have a few drinks before committing suicide. Since it is very hard to explain how HP could have walked and talked normally with his blood in that state, or even walked at all, the simplest explanation is that it wasn't his blood, but that of a car-exhaust suicide, of which it [is] typical…. I honestly can't imagine how anyone can seriously claim this preposterously intoxicated blood sample came from HP. My guess is that the authorities know full well that someone must have switched the blood samples, simply because whatever fool that did it stupidly picked a preposterously intoxicated sample, but they are stuck with accepting it now as really HP's blood because to question it opens up the conspiracy can of worms…. [M]ight the syringes have been washed/stored in alcohol and reused? You would think such a thing is well-nigh impossible, but I know of a particular coroner's office where it happened…. '[G]iven the violent nature of the death, the possibility of contamination of the blood is real and must be seriously considered.' He is probably thinking of the weel-known phenomenon of a ruptured gut spilling alcohol into body cavities, where it might mix with blood from ruptured blood vessels."

The chain of evidence was broken according to doctors. It was impossible to convict Henry Paul of DWI, had he survived the 60 mph crash.
