Hello, fellow GPL brothers/sisters:
I’m trying to purchase an addition to my bug-out bag with the purchase of a SW radio. I’d already purchased an incredibly cheap and ridiculous one that doesn’t work PERIOD. My price point, unfortunately, is within the the hundred dollar range so I was hoping I could get good suggestions from you guys, considering I.m a complete novice in this field.

Looking back, this was AWESOME, now I’d just like to get the same. (For different reasons, obviously...) Perfect... let me have a look and I'll see what I can find. I'm a CHEAP bastard but I always try to find the best gear. I personally use a few base models for the home. (Yeesu and Kenwood BRICKS for the '90s...) but have a couple of portables that I have loved over the years. I'm assuming you want something portable?
