Are you getting enough sunlight/vitamin D? If not get some gelcap vitamin D in fish oil solution. Also vitamin C supplements.

If you can get your anxiety under control, the hair loss might reverse. Just be aware that hair loss is a side effect of many anti-anxiety drugs too.

Hi, all I know is that my husband got very, very ill from something. We didn't believe covid was real either. I took care of him for a week before he unfortunately and reluctantly went to the hospital. He had said for the past year and a half if he ever went to the hospital, he wouldn't come out alive and he was right. I also got very sick from something (almost like being in a coma) and also had to go to the hospital (got out after 4 days AMA). So my experience tells me it's real. It took many, many days for me to start feeling human again.

get a massager on it - bring more blood to it - bring more circulation to the head. it is much easier to prevent it from falling out rather than trying to make it grow back. take more supplements like potassium and iodine drops (1-5 and not every day like once a week)

What shampoo do you use??

I used a cheap one until my hair was falling out and thinning. I switched about six months ago and it is now full.

There is a lawsuit about really bad shampoos. OGX, Tressemme, and other brands are on it. They contain chemicals and such that make your hair thin and fall out.

I do eat lots of eggs/avocado. And only use shampoo/conditioner, nothing else. And not genetic in origin. From the past 3 pages, my covid from 3 months ago seems to be the culprit. But lots of great recommendations. Thanks again to you and all who have responded to my thread. Helps me so much!!!

To add to the suggestions on here look up biotin supplements and also rice water.

vaxx status? I've been watching the hair fall out of vaxxed coworkers for months. One guy says his buddy was pulling out clumps of hair at Thanksgiving dinner and said it started after his 2nd shot...

No, I'm here!!! Just stepped away for a few. To answer question about vax....absolutely not vax'd. But I think the answer was from AsKnownAs and the link from GoodRX. It is most likely from covid....I had it very bad, had to be hospitalized for 4 days (got myself out ama). But the real stress was from losing my husband at the same time (3 months ago), also due to covid...talk about stress. This has to be the most horrible thing anyone could go through in this life. The sorrow and stress will probably never leave, but hopefully will lessen with passage of time.

Anemia causes hair loss. Try taking an iron pill and see if it helps. It stopped my hair loss and I feel much better now.

Not vaxxed, but had bad Covid for 6-8 weeks. After I was "well" I started losing a lot of hair. That went on for about 3 weeks but finally stopped.

Go get blood tests done. Check specifically on your thyroid.

Elderly folks lose their hair

I lost almost half my hair over a long period of time following having covid in January of 2020. It will indeed cause long term hair loss that only stops after up to a year of almost going bald.

Yes, same here except my hair loss started in November 2019. Made me very depressed, only earlier this year I realized it must have been that original ‘Covid’ seeing as I was working out of Philadelphia at the time. Seems to only really affect women, haven’t heard any male friends dealing with the same.

It IS a side effect of CoVid. Look it up. I was losing mine in clumps for a while after I got sick. Really noticed when I showered. However, it will stop after some time. I'm not losing it anymore.
