Global Ottawa Fast and Prayer Event:

The events in Ottawa will reverberate around the world like a gong.



I'm calling on You to do something to help all of the men, women and children, along with their families, who will be going to Ottawa.

Please commit to fasting and praying earnestly for all of those involved. Please call on your Church's prayer group to please, begin fasting and praying for this immediately.

If you're able and feel called, please call other Churches and ask them to do the same. It's one of the few things You've been able to do to change the tide.



"Prayer has a long history as a means of protesting injustices, appealing both to God to intervene and enact justice in the situation... Boston declared a day of fasting and prayer in September 1768 as a protest against a British plan to station troops in the city... a day of fasting and prayer to take place on Wednesday, June 1, 1774, to protest the Boston Port Act.

Thomas Jefferson found this to be remarkably effecting, writing that "the effect of the day through the whole colony was like a shock of electricity," moving the Virginians to choose delegates to establish self-rule."

Heavenly Father, please give ear to our words, O LORD, consider our collective groaning. Heed the sound of our cries for help, for you are our King and our God. For to You do we pray. In the morning O LORD, you will hear our voice; in the morning we will order prayer to you and eagerly watch. For you are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; no evil dwells with You. The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity. Destroy those who speak falsehood. You abhor the man of bloodshed and deceit. But as for us, by Your abundant lovingkindness we will enter Your house. At your holy temple we will bow in reverence to you. Lord. Please lead the Ottawa convoy in Your righteousness because of our foes. Make their way straight before them.

Heavenly Father, please give supernatural wisdom, strength and discernment to all those involved regarding how to navigate the road ahead. In the mighty Name of Jesus, we pray, amen.
