in american schools, which i started in kindergarten, i was taught the lie that in hitler's germany if you didn't have blonde hair and blue eyes you would be killed in the concentration camps because you were deemed to not be "aryan"...knew this was a lie because my Omi had brownish hair as an adult and hazel eyes and she didn't go to a concentration camp and my Opa fought in ww2.

that was just one lie of so many many more that i was "taught" and did not believe.
