i think it's time to make them both out of a different material.
some people advocate doing away with the penny, but i think we should do away with the nickel FIRST.
if we did away with the penny, then all prices would have to be RAISED to the next nickel, and all tax percentages would have to be assigned in 5% increments.
5 pennies can replace the nickel, but we don't have something to replace the penny.
i say do away with the nickel, and make the penny out of a cheaper material/metal. |
