Alberta Canada and Montana USA Border Trucker Protest Continues in Support of Ottawa Effort

Canadian authorities in the province of Alberta have tried and failed to get the Canadian truckers to back down from their border blockade. The U.S. truckers are supportive of their Canadian allies, and both groups are united in the effort. The blockade is a protest against US and Canadian governments mandating that truckers must be “fully vaccinated” against Covid-19, which came into effect on January 15.

According to Coutts Mayor Jim Willett, about 100 trucks were blocking Highway 4 on the Canadian side, causing a miles-long backup on Interstate 15 in Montana. About 50-100 trucks have reportedly been stuck on the US side since Saturday.

In an effort to remove the blockade, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have cut off the supporters who were bringing food and supplies to the truckers. The familiar and typical ‘cut off the supply line‘ maneuver.

First off, while there ARE tow trucks capable of towing semis, there ain’t exactly LOTS of them available.

Secondly, they are normally pulling a broke down semi, with a driver who WANTS to be towed.

Thirdly, the tow truck needs to be able to get close to the semi its going to tow; as pointed out, park vehicles to block the way.

It could get rather comical, with tow trucks chasing trucks around,…seriously unless they first arrest the drivers, tow trucks really aren’t the answer.

If the commies don’t like it, they can get their own trucks ($200k), get their own licenses ($10k), train, develop relationship with transport co’s, and HAUL IT THEMSELVES.

It would please me to see the truckers on the US side block the highway as well. Then the Canadian “authorities” would realize that tearing their own truckers would only amount to half a solution.

Technically, the U.S. Military ultimately has control/authority over all Interstate highways; it was originally justified by Ike, as a way to move troops/material in a time of War.

May or may not be relevant, but if Montana State troopers won’t clear the US side, Brandon could order US troops to.

Whether they would follow the order, is a different story.

I also suggest they blockade the LEO from the same thing by parking dozens more trucks behind them. knife the tow truck tires if you have to.
