Zhu Yi, American name Beverly Zhu, will be competing on February 17th and 19th near the end of the Olympics as a Figure Skater representing China Since China does NOT recognize "Dual" nationalities that must mean that she has given up her American Citizenship ... though NO confirmation of that from China, her family, or the US Government. She was born in Los Angeles and her father, while he has retained his Chinese Citizenship, has been a professor at UCLA for a number of years. Oh well Quoting: Crest of Hope I don't think any will be going. The NHL and NHLPA announced in December that they would not be sending anyone to the games. They were nervous about players getting covid there, bringing it back, and that making it even harder for the NHL to finish out their season. |
