I'm vaccinated, though not a proper term if you follow the science. :)

It is free, but it is a risk as is not being vaccinated. We live in a country supposedly based on choice, sliding quickly into the realm that Mike Judge imagined with idiocracy.

The people left without being emotionally manipulated from a "come on guys, if you like money, and don't want to be kicked in the balls" have already had their vaccine. The rest are waiting to see what happens.

Peer pressure only works on the low-minded, and there are two camps. It is the avoidance denial group, that won't drink water if the gov or anyone else told them to, and the others which think that everyone else should conform to their ideals and risks.

The smart people have either gotten vaccinated, and rolled the dice, or not gotten vaccinated, and are held up in their bunkers.

I took the chance personally because I live in a high zone of spread and have vulnerabilities to lung infections. (I have inactive terburculosis.) I haven't had any negative issues as of yet, and I have yet to contract covid. But I have also been careful. I also have a child who is vulnerable who is not old enough to get vaccinated as of yet. He had RSV, and has always had issues with lung function and is autistic. I gambled on the best bet. I wear a mask, even though I know that's like wearing a flack vest into a war zone vs perfect protection. I keep my young son protected, and I take precautions until the virus reaches a point where it doesn't cause long term effects like diabeties and long term effects. I am patient. I wait, and I watch.

But, those that said f*ck it, I'm not going to lecture. you have your own needs and maybe you couldn't do what I'm doing or were heartier than I. The choice is what's important. I respect anyone that is making that choice based on reason to do or not to do.

The conversation here, and in the media is wrong. We can still be brothers and sisters. there is no one right way.

I believe in the vaxx! Call me names but I won't stop until every single man, woman, and child is fully vaxxed and God willing gets an extra dose just in case.

If you read what it actually does, it does not work like a vaccine at all. hence the boosters. I have been careful with teh boosters because you do not want to flood your body with spike protines. It works more like Chaff or Flares when it comes to anti-missile tech. I can still get it, but it isn't a direct hit. At least most of the time, as long as my body drops chaff at the right time.

It's not a sure thing. I think it's dishonest that our gov and health services sell it as such, because it isn't.

But, it's something, and I have the luxury of being able to isolate. I can test my natural immune system without some insurance, becuase I would be a ventilator patient, and we have seen how that goes.

It really should be, or at least provided to aid those that have that issue.
