Ukrain / Cuban missile crisis Russia vs. USA Today vs. 60's

So if you look on a map, Kiev is about 1/2 the distance to Moscow as Cuba is to Washington DC.

And the whole thing about the Cuban missile crisis was in the 1960's in the cold war the Soviets were putting nukes in Cuba so close to the USA that maybe they could hit us hard enough fast enough to win a first strike nuclear war. And to prevent that possibility, the USA almost blew up the world by forcing the Soviets to stop loading missiles into Cuba with a naval blockade.

Well, today, the Ukraine is 1/2 the distance to Moscow, so this is twice as much of that kind of a threat to Russia as the cuban missile crisis was to the USA in the 60's, not even, because now they have these hypersonic missiles so that 1/2 the distance might be traversable in even less time than it would be in the 60's, for Russia to be worried about a future first nuclear strike defeat in a nuclear war just like America was with the Cuban missile crisis.

And to add to that, the west is putting in all these missile defense batteries in Europe, so it makes mutually assured destruction, the reason nuclear wars don't start, even less likely. Which as Putin points out, why would they not hide hypersonic nuclear missiles in these 'defensive missile batteries'?

So why are we so so so worried about Ukraine? Because there IS a genocide going on in recent years in South Africa that I've heard of. Do we have some kind of treaty with them? I mean I haven't heard of them being part of NATO, but rather that we'd better not make them part of NATO.

Or is it that the world is waking up to the global I think satanic elite that rule over the governments, and world war 3 is the best way to make it illegal to criticize your government?

I think we all know what the answer is.
