Moving in a column like that is kinda standard practice folks. Check out US patrols in Iraq/Ghan as an example...could give lots of others but anywho.

They're not worried about being hit. They're just moving into position in the most effective/efficient way possible

They have drones and several confirmed kills on heavy anti aircraft armaments as well as infantry convoys.

This is just stupid on Russia's part.
