DOOM BREAK: A Ukrainian Military Field Rations Review
If you're tired of all the repetitive war chatter, try out this review of a 2021 Ukrainian Army 24-hr field ration - the stuff those soldiers are out there eating right now.

While they don't eat nearly as well as American Soldiers [the Japanese actually have the best MRE'S!] like the Ukrainians themselves, it's food for big appetites and a daily ration packs a whopping 4,000 calories.

The guy doing the demo has been around a long time and has eaten military MRE's from all around the world -including some really old stuff from WWII- so he knows his way around a heatpack.

But he's pretty creepy, as well; he goes on and on about the flavor like a really stoned gourmet and when you see him on-camera he even looks the part.

I'll see if I can find a similar video that shows what the Russian troops are eating.

Re: DOOM BREAK: A Ukrainian Military Field Rations Review
Many militaries have different MRE's depending upon where the troops are deployed, including both the U.S. and Russia.

I found two different ones for Russian MRE's: one issued for troops in mountainous areas and one for Recon forces. Neither review covers recent rations but are several years old, but it's safe to assume the today's food will be similar.

In addition, this guy has reviews for MRE's from the Czech Republic, Belarus, Slovakia and Hungary.

Here's the Russian Mountain troops MRE review:

and here's the one for Recon troops:
