Re: how to handle a Troll... and beat them at their own game
People just don't like blunt honesty and those who convey it are referred to as trolls. What amazes me is people actually take the internet seriously after all these years, I don't and can't figure out why some still do. The web is mainly chalk full of shit anyway, the real positive aspect about it is freedom to express yourself how you like without having to give a shit about what other's 'may' think. I love telling someone how I feel about them and really meaning it, it's a nice feeling. Of course, there are still a lot of people on the internet just surfing for acceptance which is pretty sad, it shows how young in their development they are. Don't get me wrong, I did the same thing once upon a time..... Like when I was a child!

troll, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
Usually , when some dumbass is running his mouth about something he knows nothing about , and I COUNTER
with my vastly superiour intelect, he calls me a "troll",
in other words doesnt like what I say.
Well if you dont like what I say then dont talk dumbass
bullshit, moron.
You're not a "troll" just because you hurt the feelings of some fucktard who thinks a motor is "free energy"
(even with a battery hooked to it) .
Such people are going to get their feelings hurt on a daily basis because that are idiots, you might as well be the one who gets to enjoy doing it.

bELEIVE IT OR NOT SOME ON THIS "SITE" ACTUALLY get pissed
when you point out just how stupid they are.
I saw a vid of a "free energy" motor, for instance,
and just pointed out that it was working just like every other electric motor in the world, with wires running from the back to offcamera (probably to a battery) and some actually got pissed that I DISRUPTED THEIR LITTLE FAIRY
TALE(emphasize the word "fairy") about "free" energy.
Free energy my ass, you have as much chance of going into the store and getting some "free" groceries 5a

Of course, there's a difference between looking for a place to fit in and changing yourself because of the need to fit in. Personally, I think that its a matter of balance. Knowing where your willing to compromise and where you have to draw the line. As a matter of fact, the stronger, more confident a person is -- the more flexible they are when it comes to big things like philosophy. Because they don't take it personally or as a challenge on who they are.

The people I'm referring to are dying for attention and it's pretty obvious, not only through admission but through their way of ass-kissing to authority figures in social communities.

Confidence is an illusion. I'd rather just be myself, confidence is based on how one feels about their self, not about the reality that composes them. Anyone can have confidence, that doesn't make their illusion a reality.

We ALL seek approval to some extent. We do this in order to feel safe. It's a survival behavior learned as a child where we sought our parents' approval so they'd keep feeding us, changing our diaper, etc. When acting all cute and cuddly didn't work, we threw a hissy fit. Many carry on this behavior as strongly as an adult as they did as a child. They don't outgrow it at all.

You know, I'm learning something in this thread. Forums without Trolls and antagonists would probably be really boring. They can certainly break up the monotony and interject some pretty good humor from time to time.

Never thought I'd be saying this but, THANK YOU, TROLLS! Please, keep Trolling! We love you!

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be liked by people. No man is an island.

If you're not being true to yourself there is.

True, but can you tell the difference between a person asking for help and a person who is just a weasel?

LOL, I like to think so, helping people is something I normally enjoy and there haven't been any weasels yet.

If this got pinned for a day, it would probably attract every Troll on this forum for a Great Troll War where we could all enjoy some true Troll on Troll action and see who ends up the biggest, baddest Troll of all :)

We ALL seek approval to some extent.

I don't and haven't for sometime. Genuinely, what other's think of me doesn't concern me at all. Experience has taught me no matter what you accomplish in life, no one will ever appreciate it and the only person you must be content with, is yourself.

Re: how to handle a Troll... and beat them at their own game
troll, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
Like the nimrod sissypants who posted this thread.... rant

How could you let typed words on a conspiracy site hurt your feelings?

bELEIVE IT OR NOT SOME ON THIS "SITE" ACTUALLY get pissed
when you point out just how stupid they are.

Well, some people are sensitive. You can't help that. And yet sometimes we're just not very diplomatic in how we state things. If we act like arrogant assholes, we'll tend to attract attack. I don't see anything wrong with punching holes in people's arguments if they're blowing smoke up their own asses. It's important to do that -- but I think people should do it respectfully and not with a 2 x 4, personal attacks or name-calling. But, if someone starts in with name-calling and personal attacks, that person is totally fair game :)
