Yes but the opposite of now. Normally they delete all pins and leave about 3 and slowly re-pin.

Right now THE ENTIRE PAGE is pinned and only 5 give or take 1 or 2 are non-pinned.

I get that the news aggregate folks are important, but often there are others that post the same...would be cool if they got the pin, instead of the Mod favorites.

I don't think I've paid attention to names. I just am a bit off-kilter when I see so many flags. Like, OK, I'll come back to read those, lemme see fun stuff first.

A LOT of important stuff I've seen never gets pinned and a lot of crap does. People should not be allowed to pin their own stuff, it ought to be blocked, like voting for yourself is.

Like only when you get 5 pin requests it should be reviewed by a mod to be pinned. 25 pin requests gets you the autopin.

Pinned threads tend to have many pages of replies that I just don’t feel like skimming through since 90% are memes and crap.

The threads just below the bottom of the pinned threads are often some of the best.

I was highlighting the "pattern" of how GLP pinned threads have played out over the years.

With a smattering of Trump, terrorism, Israel, Palestine etc.. thrown in for good measure.
