Poland is being used by the USA as a pretext to get NATO involved. As soon as Russia destroys the Polish fighter jets that cross into Ukraine it's on.

Poland has previously stated the plane deal as mentioned by blinken was not true

However if it is true we will know because Russia will respond

The next problem is the airbase to host them in Ukraine

Russia will send cruise missiles to destroy it.

So there would have to be sufficient SAM sites to protect it
