Niccolò User ID: 348129 United States 02/19/2008 10:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | However the most agressive bear is the polarbear Quoting: -Freak-According to the links on Google, the most aggressive bear is a toss up between the grizzly, the polar bear, and the kodiak (a sub-species of grizzly). Sites can be found supporting all three. "As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances there is a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be aware of change in the air--however slight--lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness." --Justice William O. Douglas "There are three kinds of intelligence: one kind understands things for itself, the other appreciates what others can understand, the third understands neither for itself nor through others. This first is excellent, the second good, and the third useless." --Niccolò Machiavelli "I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep" --Robert Frost :phamask: |

Quoting: GradientThose were my thoughts when seeing these pics. "You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. “The war we fight today is more than a military conflict,” Mr Bush said. “It is the decisive ideological struggle of the 21st century.” You are a slave..., like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind." |

Berry Bears User ID: 374158 United States 02/20/2008 11:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Look at the sequence again, there is someone in the truck and also a car parked up ahead. I don't see the door opening and the passenger getting out to help. I bet he did finally though. Also, someone was in a vehicle behind them taking the photos. I live in bear country and they wander around my area by the stream, fishing, eating berries in season and I've seen them downing deer. We've only seen one Griz by my place, mostly Black bears around. They are out of sorts when they awake from hibernation and also when they are preparing to hibernate. Their stomachs are making the decisions at that time, not their brains. They come within 20 yards of me but have been respectful of my space, as I am of theirs. I don't even pick any of the berries at the edge of my yard since that is theirs to enjoy. I do keep my distance. |
