I'm glad you said this. I'm north of there, in the north coast of Washington state.

I've thought that before, about what you said, that there are so many seriously seriously messed up people on the streets here.

It's definitely crossed my mind that they might be survivors of some really horrific shit done to them as children.

Like, most died, but the few who survived were thrown out to fend on their own on the street.

Because seriously, there have been entire summers here where the screaming never stopped, and I'm not exaggerating. People walking up and down the street all day screaming at the top of their lungs.
