The Vanir had lead several large campaigns into the North and Europe trying to wipe out the Atlantean bloodlines, after generations of war, they eventually lead a counter assault into Freya/Inanna/Kali's domain in India.

The Vanir eventually lead another assault into this region after the great destruction of the gods 3600 years ago and enslaved many of those in the slavic regions hence where they get their name.

If you study Norse Mythology they don't make the connection of Freya and Baldur's marriage straight up. They refer to Baldur's wife as Nanna and Freya's husband as Odr. But if you learn the same version of the events and stories in other mythologies and religions you can start to piece the story together.

Nanna is Freya, and Odr is Baldur. Freya spends her days missing her missing husband Odr, who is actually Baldur.

Sadly the version of Norse mythology that is available today is a bastardization of the original stories and mythology produced by the Roman Church.

The Sun is very close to what your scientist tell you, but because your science is so controlled and gates control of real knowledge you don't have the full understanding of just what it means.

The Sun basically is a ball of fire, but not the type of fire that you think it is. Hydrogen is a balanced element of heavenly proportions.

Like I've mentioned before there's been a disinformation put forth among humanity about the upper and lower realms.

The truth is the Heavenly upper realms are realms of Fire, Light, and Heat while the lower realms are cold and dark.

Hell is frozen over, and Heaven is on fire.

Staring at a flame can help quicken the process. There's a reason why the Zoroastrians had a lot of fire based rituals and practices.

Getting into a trance state faster comes with practice, I would look into shamanism based resources to find more tips on how to enter a trance state. Sound and music can be a good aid for changing brain states.

The Monroe Institute did a lot of research into astral projection, remote viewing, and trance states and might also be a resource to look into. Robert A. Monroe was one of the leading researchers there and has multiple books on those subjects.

So what did the gods do to ascend/level up? Did they meditate obsessively like Buddhist monks do? Wouldn’t that destroy all their desires? How do gods have emotions like vengeance, pride, jealousy, etc. if they abandoned all their desires through meditation? Or did they ascend using other means?

What makes you think ascending causes you to lose your emotions? What if it only strengthens them? Meditation doesn't kill emotions, it just lets you analyze what is going on easier.

The gods have trained much like you are wondering about.

As I mentioned before the royal family has access to all the tech and knowledge available throughout the galaxy. This allows them access to the full scope of spiritual knowledge.

At the same time, because they have access to the immortality elixir due to being royalty, its not a problem for them to go and spend a hundred years on a meditation retreat.

When a great ascended master pops up, the gods can then go a spend time with them sharing information.

Imagine being an immortal and getting the chance to go train with every holy man that has ever walked the Earth. You would possess some serious knowledge no? Now imagine being immortal and being able to do that across the galaxy...

As I've mentioned before Earth was once a spiritual paradise, beings from multiple worlds came to Earth in order to gain spiritual knowledge.

India was once the kingdom of Christ Baldur/Krishna and there were many spiritual masters who came from other parts of the galaxy to spend time there and learn with him, hence why the Hindus have thousands of gods compared to other regions.
