Change school start times to maximize daylight by 30 minutes depending on the season.

Most kids are walking to school because their parents don't have time to take them and have to leave for work at 4, 5, 6 or 7 a.m. in the mourning before school hours. It will be dark as midnight in the fall and winter at that time with daylight savings time.

Most schools these days serve breakfast at 7 a.m. luring the kids to get there earlier. Kids that walk to school need that breakfast because their parents don't have time enough in the morning to provide breakfast at home, let alone drive them to school.

Wait till you see what they do with sunday laws.

Well, with a single time set, you can choose your own hours. Start school an hour later, if it's too dark to get to school.

This, it should be one way or the other, not constantly changing, I'd prefer for it to go back to standard time permanently, and then the schools can schedule accordingly with sunrise.
