I know that it's a copout, but the future doesn't work in a completely deterministic way. It's a series of probabilities that resonate with the state of the present. If you believe the rather credible and numerous whistleblowers from Project Looking Glass, the deep state has figured out how to align and shift both past and future timelines using some sort of technology based at CERN. The Mandela effect is hypothesized to be one of the side effects of this. According to these whistleblowers, the shadow government has messed around with time to an absurd and dangerous extent - all to forestall an inevitable that will see people rise up against their governments.

I don't think that Cayce was a deliberate fraud per se, but he certainly was not getting accurate information from his cosmic sources.

Technically, that wasn't a prediction, but a historical hypothesis which appears self-evident when one observes the myriad contradictions in the fields of mainstream anthropology, archeology, and history. It's rather obvious that these "experts" are talking out of their ass.
