Gasoline consumption is at high level even with the high prices. Spring break is happening so that might explain the high demand.

The world has seen accelerated advances in technology during periods before and after major conflict. WWI, WWII

This time around might be different considering the recent advances biowarfare research. The nuclear threat is there too. I believe the war will be fought using psychological warfare and financial warfare. Conventional and advanced weapons will be used in proxy. Possibly nuclear in proxy without total nuclear warfare.

Maybe its good many people have moved past being concerned? What would be better time spent? Building armies to change the world.. or becoming fully responsible for developing yourself no matter what comes?
