almost funny but totally pathetic. Guess Trump never read the US constitution. Someone needs to tell Trump congress has no power to do that. [ link to www.cnbc.com (secure)] Rep. Mo Brooks of Alabama on Wednesday said Donald Trump had asked him to “rescind” the 2020 presidential election, “remove” President Joe Biden from his office, “immediately put” Trump back in the White House and hold a new special presidential election. Brooks said in a statement that he had drawn Trump’s “ire” by telling the former president that his plan was not legal. The congressman later told NBC News that Trump proposed the series of events to restore him to the presidency after Sept. 1, more than seven months after Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20, 2021. “As a lawyer, I’ve repeatedly advised President Trump that January 6 was the final election contest verdict and neither the U.S. Constitution nor the U.S. Code permit what President Trump asks. Period,” Brooks said. Well, I don't find it funny or pathetic. Am not finding any section of the U.S Constitution nor the U.S Code that discusses mail in ballots counted after the election. Nor dead people voting.. Nor Electronic Voting machines. Or any number of other items that happened in the last election that really boil down to nothing but fraud. Would seem you are ok with all of that though, per your comment above.
