I had a 3" turbo downpipe in a pile of pipe I was scrapping. As I was about to throw it in the truck it felt heavy on one end. I looked in it and there was a small box turtle wedged in there. The flange kept him from exiting the pipe and he couldn't back up. I had to mortar the poor fellow back out the way he came. I brought him inside and gave him a lukewarm bath to get the mud off him and offered him some spinach. He wasn't keen on eating and looked in good health so I set him back in the area I found him, sans pipe.
