Even though all three of our girls are grown (23-33) the middle daughter had to yell and get belligerent while shopping two days ago because an older man wouldn't leave her alone (followed her for an hour) and tried to touch her. I sent tasers to all three girls and told them to shock the hell out of anyone that gets in their personal space!

Reminds me of when I had a weirdo following me in the grocery store. Every time I stopped to pick up something on the shelf I could see him stop (in my peripheral vision).

This happened in 3 aisles. So I went to the meat counter & pretended to look at the meat but I was watching him in the mirrored wall.

He finally left. So I went to check out. I had someone waiting for me in a car, otherwise I would have asked for an employee (hopefully a big burly man) to walk me to my car.

Not trying to lessen your beliefs but it could of also been a gangland kidnap attempt

A lot of gangs have anitiation duties on new recruits

I have a cousin who lived in a small town ...good looking. ..same type of thing...
She was smart enough to elude the people

She and the store manager saw the weirdos who tried to take her going to a car parked farther away where a bunch of men were waiting

These times are very very scary

If I had a young daughter or even a young boy I would put them in intenaive self defense classes and or

Martial arts like black belt training

And conceal carry

I suggest Krav Maga, as she will also learn ground defense/offense as well as knife defense/offense.

I drew my boot knife on an aggressive guy at a gas station a few years ago. Any half baked fool could tell I am trained by the way I held the blade. He put his hands in front of him, got back in his car and left quickly. I was carrying, but rule of thumb is that unless they are 20+ feet away, it will be difficult to defend with a gun if they are closing space. That is why I also have a boot knife in the waist band of my jeans.

So, moral of the story, they don't just go after teens.
