Has anyone figured out what "he shall rise on the third day" actually means?

It's meant to illustrate that the same thing awaits all humans after we die.

We (our souls) are allowed (by design) to remain on earth for 3 days after our body dies. We go to our own funeral and try to express to our loved ones that we ourselves didn't die, only our body did.

Okay, so why does everyone realize that Jesus died and rose but that when we die that's it, the end? Because religion does not want us to know the truth so it will never be taught.

You can learn the truth, though, by becoming more spiritual while in the body. By spirtual, I do not mean religious. The two do not mean the same thing.

The more spiritual a person becomes, the more that's revealed to you in various ways until you begin to see the truth of life.

How does one become more spiritual? By going within yourself. Knock, and the door shall open...

Not only has he pulled my worthless ass out of the fire, giving him the steering wheel to my life has taken me to places that were completly unobtainable had I been driving.

One has to get to a point of despair where there is no other option than he.

Man, where would we be without the resurrection of the Christ? That He loved us to come, die and do what ONLY God could do-defeat death! Blessings to all on this reminder of the Hope He has given us!
