Well that is the penalty for treason. If you attack the capital and attempt to overturn the election and hold democracy hostage like the traitors did on Jan 6th, then the laws are quite clear on what you should expect. The penalty should be harsh so that we never see what we saw on Jan 6th happen in our country again.
