this is a horrific story, but I have to wonder how the 8-year old bully kept from burning himself when lighting the tennis ball on fire, before allegedly throwing it. A tennis ball doused in gasoline would catch on fire quickly, I would think? Was bully’s hands burned? Were his reflexes that quick? Obviously the poor 6-year old is badly burned, but the story doesn’t make sense to me. And the parents’ interview seemed like fake crying.
