Why would God place a magical hologram in the sky to deceive me into thinking I'm standing on the surface of a sphere....??
Is he going to throw me in hell for falling for his sneaky illusion...???

Exhibit B: [ link to earthcurvature.com (secure)] For 450 kilometers of distance, the landscape curvature drop would be close to 20 kilometers down. Exhibit C: [ link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] The height of the Barre des Écrins is 4.1 kilometers (4,103 meters). Now, the question… How is the Barre des Écrins visible in a straight line from nearly 500 kilometers away if it is only 4 kilometers tall, the Pyrenees mount is only 1 km shorter, and the curvature drop is almost 20 kilometers of hiding?
