Quoting: Captain KC Jones Billie Flynn contends the F-35 is so different from Soviet Cold War fighters that pilots used to the latter would be unable to transition to the F-35. Flynn also thinks the F-35 is the most survivable aircraft for the dangerous skies over Ukraine. One of the most noted authorities on the F-35 has some interesting things to say about the jet, including how it would fit in with European air forces, and how suitable the fighter is for the air war over Ukraine. Billie Flynn, a former Lockheed Martin test pilot, also talked about how the jet represents a massive leap forward from older, Soviet-designed fighter jets, noting that the pilots who train them would be unable to learn how to fly the F-35. Flynn also believes the F-35 is the only jet that can survive in the lethal air environment over Ukraine. [link to www.msn.com (secure)] Is he now a paid sales agent for the F-35? Or is all the bad press to disinfo our enemies? . "Don't do anything that affects anything. Unless it turns out you were supposed to do it, in which case for the love of God. Don't not do it!" |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82622001 The F-35 is an extremely advanced and hardened flight platform. America still has air superiority. Unfortunately, I think that nukes will be used eventually. So the F-35 might just be a balcony seat to mass destruction. We will soon see. ^^^ this is actually a lie. it's posted from a janitorial closet at lockheed martin |

It's to manufacture consent among your pleb class so when they get nuked to glowing cinder, lockheed martin can state they did what the great unwashed wanted them to do and they were simply following the democratic will of the people. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 81499051 United States 04/30/2022 10:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | One huge complaint with the F-35 from the beginning, is that the software didn't start from the inside out, to other systems, but the other way around. Just like NASA and Boeing, non-engineers are now in leadership, and their cost saving measures and assorted idiocy has led to catastrophic failure and insane cost overruns. Go back to the old model, it worked. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73881706 United States 05/01/2022 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes I read reports years ago that the f35 isn't as good at dogfights as some other planes. But it seems other planes will be dead before they even get miles near this thing. If it's really true that Ukraine flew helicopters into Russia then that probably means their radars got disabled like when USA flew into Pakistan after bin laden. Your shit will stop working. |
