I'll tell you all you need to know about the GD: if you're looking for enlightenment, or to reveal your hidden powers, the GD isn't the right path. If this is a path you're interested in, know that you can only do it alone. Yes, there is some good info in the books (Regardie, Cicero, others), but ultimately, it's a fabricated system BASED on true ancient wisdom teachings, as opposed to an original system (Egyptian wisdom teachings/magic).

You don't need the kabala/cabala to reach enlightenment, but when you do, you'll be able to interpret the secrets of kabala and many other occult systems (or so they say).

As for Enochian magic, if you've got lots of money to spend on all the fancy (and unnecessary) tools, and a LOT of time to study it, AND are okay with insubstantial results after a lot of hard work, go for it.

Do yourself a favour and read this 70 page book. It's easy and enjoyable to read, but most importantly, it's loaded with truth. It might be free, but it's priceless. True initiates/adepts/masters do not charge for their wisdom.
