Idiots Who Recommend Faraday Cages For EMP Shielding.
These guys are mindless. Even if you could preserve the electronics of your computer, phone, modem, car, appliances everything with a chip, when an EMP hits 99.99% of the rest of the digital universe and system would be permanently dysfunctional. Your preserved little bit of IT would be unusable without the rest of the system.

-No Banking, No Money Will Exist Other Than Cash.
-No Internet Servers.
-No Gasoline Could Be Pumped.
-No Service Industry Functions.
-No Power Grid.
-No Cell Phone Service.

Think, Einstein, What use would your preserved IT devices have? These guys giving advice are nutso.

I can think of a few things that would be extremely helpful:

flashlights
portable two-way radios
small solar panels to recharge batteries

I asked someone who purchased an "EMP" shield device for his car how he would get home when all the other cars around him are disabled.

Lot's of nonsensical bullshit ensued.

i've got 3000 pdfs on practical stuff you will need to know in the event of various disasters.

i can charge a car battery with an old bicycle

i can regulate the DC to power my laptop

better than printing it all out and carrying to the bug out shelter.

You are avoiding the issue here. Even if still intact, none of the sophisticated IT devices will be operative in any manner without the rest of the greater system intact.

Do you grasp what I just said here? No?

get your head out of ur ass op, 2 way radios need no infrastructure to operate and would be invaluable if shtf.. flashlights I don’t think would be affected by emp anyway if not LED.. small solar panel and a high efficiency flashlight would also prove beyond worth

why would anyone save their laptop in the apocalypse lol you’re too much

Re: Idiots Who Recommend Faraday Cages For EMP Shielding.
the only kind of EMP that could do any electrical damage wirelessly would be the kind coming from a NUKE!

people need to stop talking shit about EMP's

a portable EMP doesn't have enough power to do anything other than reset your pc.

all this talk of cars failing and computers breaking is just horseshit.
