* Hepatitis B is more common than HIV and 50100 times more infectious than HIV.
* Hepatitis B is the most common serious liver infection in all communities.
* 1 in 10 Asian and Pacific Islanders have chronic (lifelong) hepatitis B.
* Most do not even know they are infected
* 1 in 4 people with chronic hepatitis B will die from liver cancer or liver failure.
* If you were infected at birth you will carry the virus for life, even if you were vaccinated
* Vaccinations do NOT help individuals infected with Hepatitis B, but treatment does

o If non immune Get Vaccinated
o If infected get appropriate medical monitoring, and effective treatment.
