I have an oversized hammock outside...listening to the songs of birds changes everything. If that doesn't work, I send my anger to the ether to swirl into outcome. I have no hand in it after it's gone.

I usually take action when I’m upset, go picture taking or start a project, clean stuff, anything productive. And I pray about it too. It goes away when I do that.

I on purpose try to forget my anger, not reflect on the actions, and make plans for moving forward in ways that can prevent whatever is triggering my rage and anger

I close my eyes, relax and visualize driving over democrats in great detail. I'd focus less on politics. The country is effed. Our national debt has so many digits, we haven't built infrastructure in 50 years, our population becomes less and less capable.

I may be in your parent's generation. We had a rough ride too, lied to over and over again. Couldn't find anyone to trust to run the country but had to choose someone from the worthless choices. You can blame us but it won't do much good for you or bother us much.

I'm at peace like Scrump. Actually I am building a fence around my garden with one of my sons, and that's damn hard work because of old rock walls and pieces of old garden fence, and that's getting old and frustrating to the point it gets me out of a peaceful mood. What keeps me going is that once it's done, I won't have to do it anymore.

So gardening is not how I find peace, just the opposite. Would one of you who loves it come over and enjoy it here? Win-win!
