The fact is, Russia encircled Kyiv and failed.

They encircled Kharkiv and failed.

They attempted assassinating Zelenskyy and failed.

They wanted to drive out or kill Zelenskyy so they could collapse the army and install another Putin puppet. They failed.

These aren't the actions of an army that is having much success in the battlefield.

Now, could the Russians wage a costly battle of attrition, which seems to be the case here? Sure. They obviously have the numbers and the equipment vs. a country like Ukraine. But that's certainly no guarantee they will ever be able to secure a "victory" for themselves, whatever that even looks like at this point.

The Russian economy is going to sink 8-10% this year. Many of the western parts used in their oil sector are not going to be maintained moving forward by those western companies that are now pulled out of Russia.

Nah, it's just simply none of our business, and I'm totally cool with Putin rightly identifying who his enemies are, because they're our enemies too. Other than that I (and mosty other Americans who feel this way) couldn't give a rat's ass about the glory of Russia
