Besides pre-buying everything I can within reason and shelf-life, what's left? Guns, ammo, food... all covered. PMs are craY expensive and I feel PMs will be worth so much less when billions die, what do you buy now that fiat still has value? Quoting: TinfoilHatMan i would try to use them to get out of hell(poverty, sexual deprivation, forced corruption, not owning a deed for a suitable home and being besieged/ruled/haunted by enemies that keep harming/threatening me) most of what i say is theories that is based on my current information/calculations, thus it could be partly wrong if i was misinformed or miscalculated, mainly due to the confusing/deception that my enemies do to me, so top thinking with the quran retarded mentality that confuse theories with lies |

A low end home is double what it's actually worth. 100k won't buy you a trailer on land right now in most desirable places. If you want to be out in the middle of nowhere, miles form any services or city water and sewer, you might find some POS on land. As if that's a life. I'm telling you, there is nothing to buy. It's all shit. I may take the 100K to Switzerland or another country, that's what you'll need to immigrate there. Tomfoolery |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79261622 United States 05/14/2022 11:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Are you realistic OP? Historically REITS will outperform during inflationary markets. They are good hedge. Since they are Real Estate Investments...during inflation their core asset increases in value. Most have legally required dividend distributions. And if the markets collapse leads to recession, when the recession begins to end, the core business of Real Estate will do well when the economy comes back. I know some 'tards will start jabbering about Real Estate markets bubbles, but they don't understand what they are talking about. This is not 2008 where it was Govt. manipulation of lending markets causing increased demand during a period of no inflation. That is a classic bubble. This is cost-push inflation caused by a massive increase in the money supply. Housing prices rose dramatically in the period after Lyndon Johnson created the Great Society for the same reason...government created cost-push inflation. FYI...I am a member of Mensa with a B.S in Economics. I just read Thomas Piketty's 900 page book "Capital in the Twenty-First Century". And I've recently invested more that 100K in REITS. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79358846 I-Bonds are paying 9.62 percent, but you can buy only 10K per person per calendar year. 100K can buy you some barren land around here, but it would be tough to sell again. I would wait until silver comes down to $19 and pay the premium. I don't think gold at $1800 is a bad deal. I am thinking about taking some cash and buying something else I can fondle. I would stay away from Luna and UST or USDT. Buy mobile homes and flip or rent. I get about %50 Roi in rent per year. Get a few going and you got a little empire. I can buy 30 mobile homes here for what a house costs and rent them all out at $600-800 profit per month. |

Last I checked mother nature isn't manufacturing any more land. I guess the real question is how liquid you need your $100k to be. If its extra money over and above your emergency fund, I'd be looking for a wooded lot near a trout filled spring fed stream if it were me. |
