Whats the best breed of dog to have in the upcoming doom, prepper situation?

One that never gets hungry.

German Shepherd is my choice ..I have one ..the females are much more aggressive than the males as far as watchdog material...but Rottweilers and Doberman Pinchers are very good too... intimidating to look at too...or just your run of the mill pitbull...I rescue animals and I use to breed German Shepherds.

You would be amazed at how many people are scared of my 5 pound Chihuahua. She has scared off multiple big dogs including pit bulls and German Shepards.

You get a heard of theses little things, watch out! Anyone remember the Chihuahua gangs in AZ after the housing crisis in 2007 where homeowners just let them loose and the created gangs and terrorized the neighborhoods?

I have a Pyrenees’s/Rottweiler cross. Great dog. Smart, quiet and scary bark when required. I had Rhodesian Ridgebacks before. They are also good guard dogs. Very protective of owner.

I'd go with Chihuahua too.You can slap him in your backpack when on the go.They're little miniature hellhounds, and plus you wouldn't have to feed him as much as a bigger dog.lol

A good dog could earn his way in a SHTF scenario. My boys couldn't but they're cool. I could eat them but I dont think I would. I'm not Amber Heard.

Ive met a few from friends, great big dudes but they would need alot of food.

I am biased towards Belgian Malinois. After owning one for 11 years, it is the ONLY breed of dog for me.

They'll find something but those boys aint discreet....but they are talented...
