sumatra is one to watch. this one scares me...

ahhhrmmm... 6.3 isn't THAT powerful... you been through one? It rolls, and can do damage or cause things to fall over and kill people if things aren't secured or securely built... like a chicken coup or a mud hut.... That area is well known for having fairly large quakes... in February they had 2-7 something Magnitude richter and a number of 6 something Mag richter. They've had a 4 to 5- 5 and 6's in the last week. This happens for mostly since they are a volcanic island arc that is very active... A tsunami alert won't normally come into effect until it hits 7.0, due mostly in part that the tsunami created by an EQ of that size is only going to range an inch to a foot or so max. So, no reason to get your panties in a bunch, yet.
