When did you visit?

It's pretty and all but look closely. When the snow melts after all the city people come up sking at the ski resorts they leave a ton of trash that gets blown by the winds into the forest and there it remains for many years not to mention the shores of Tahoe where people leave their soda and beer cans which eventually make into the lake. I know, I used to pick it up but had to stop as it was endless and became a head trip. Tahoe also atracts rude rich people and takes away the mountain charm and is forcing middle and low income people off the moutain because Tahoe is becoming a play ground for the wealthy. Many people move here from the cities and pretend to be moutain people but have no idea what's like to be a true mountain person. Nothing but big fat fancy homes popping up everywhere instead homes people me can afford. Half the homes here are vacant as many city people have second homes who only use them maybe two weeks out of the year which means there are very few homes to rent which a problem for the casinos and ski resorts employees people like me who have to pay high rent. The average casino and ski resort worker only makes around $9.00 an hour. I can't wait to move from here and move to a true mountain town where people wave to you where there isn't any tourist driving 55 mph in a 40 mph zone running red lights putting me and my small children in danger as they rush to get to the casinos to lose their money as they come from the city.
