I've been asked to head up an "esoteric club" . What should I lecture about? | |

Total of 9 presentations. I was wondering what people thought Would be good topics to discuss? The group ranges from people who are familiar with esoterica, down to folks with little to no knowledge of that Harry Potter nonsense  So I don't want to freak anyone out, instead it needs to be coherent, and tell a story, and not assume anyone has prior background in the occult teachings |

Gnosticism, hermetica, Helena blavatsky Obviously want to briefly summarize platonism Manicheism, the scithians... you know, out ancient past maybe even the minoans Then on to middle ages stuff like alchemy and where Christianity came from. Really hoping to not offend anyone but I figure if they are really orthodox in their beliefs they probably wouldn't want to come to the club each week. |
