ANY mass movement of troops and hardware through China would be noticed as i have no doubt these things are watched for.
Also, it is a long trip via cargo ship and it would take a fleet at once to pull it off in the way stated. All would be noticed and dealt with in some way and the Chinese know it.

However, i will not say it is impossible to launch an invasion as that would be also stupid.

Some kind of smaller scale, multi landing point, West and East coast, co-ordinated attack through several canada and Mexico land points with anti Sat, missile strikes on air/navy bases in a land, sea, air & space operation..... yeah maaaaayybe it could be done, but the USA would also need to be caught napping somewhat imo. I dunno, IF they could pull off all the movements concealed in 'normal expected cargo' with a combination of all the other stuff then maybe some invasion from the edges in (all sides, multi fronts etc) ... then maybe it could be possible........ but i wont hold my breath cos not happening

As pointed out earlier, as of the 2020 census there are actually over 20-million U.S. citizens who identify as "Asian" with Chinese in the majority.
