The first thing you might consider is that the 'generational division' is a major part of their programming.
It's a 'European social construct' introduced around the mid 1800's and popularized in the 1920's.

Been watching fox news since around 97 or so...around 20 years of age...hmm still watching ..but hannity is now on my no watch list...

O,Never Watched CNN because even at an early age i knew they were ...FULL OF IT....

Still relevant info. Based on the trend, it's safe to bet the median age today, in 2022, is 74 or 75. No doubt that's the case for Fox, as more conservatives are wise on MSM propaganda with the younger generations getting their news from alternative and more independent sources. Fact.

I thought the Mean was the mathematical average, the Mode the number that occurs the most often, and the Median the number in the middle of the sample or population.

Is Nielsen saying that MSNBC and Fox has viewers that range from 1 to 130 years old? Or are they saying their viewers range from 45 to 85 years in age?

I think the mean average would be a more useful figure.
