Watched the Maze Runner - Death Cure movie last night for first time.

Boy the parallels to modern society are scary.

Viruses, killing children to extract their "essence", pharmaceutical companies that are para-military and quasi-government, masks worn by everyone, mandatory curfews for your own good, travel restrictions, chipping people making them "property", etc. etc.

A little too close for comfort.
