I never once had a crazy thought, or intended violence,,,, In fact...the ultimate answer to everything was 42 (love us some hitchhikers guide) or Taco Bell... and now there are delivery services....so you don’t even have to go through the “driving to Taco Bell, while stoned Gauntlet ” that we pioneers had to navigate to enjoy late night snack attacks.... Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war! |

Quoting: Radagast the Brown That's with anything though, really. This is why THC and marijuana MUST stay banned Oh good grief, shut the fuck up. Ban alcohol, I have never met anyone in my life who was aggressive after smoking pot, what a fucking joke lmao That is because no one has EVER been aggressive after smoking marijuana and no one ever will unless it is laced with something. The lies told about it grew from misinformation and propaganda starting over 100 yrs ago. Much of it coming from Henry Anslinger who was the first head of the Bureau of Narcotics in 1930. |

Research what meds every mass or school shooters were on. It’s staring us in the face. I’m 44. We had an entire gun cabinet in my house when I was little, and everyone I knew growing up had guns. But this kind of violence didn’t start until they rolled out Prozac. And as they became more and more prescribed, this kind of violence grew. And it usually occurs when dosages are changed or when one switches from one ssri to another. And because many doctors are completely uneducated as to how serious they are or how to prescribe or come on off them. There is an interesting case where this middle class run of the mill dad was prescribed Paxil for anxiety. Two weeks later he stabbed his twin daughters to death one morning. They were playing and all of a sudden he starts stabbing them. Listen to his 911 call. He is completed disconnected from reality. His wife stands by him as she believes it was all med induced. He had never shown any signs of violence before. I was put on an ssri 16 years ago. For anxiety. It was the worst decision I ever made. I only took it for 6 months and my life has never been the same. It completely disconnects you from your sense of self. I had never self harmed and I ended up cutting my arm really bad. I stopped the med shortly after as it freaked me out. I’ve never had any desire to do that again. It was provoked by the med. and I’ve talked to so many others that did the same thing on them. I’ve had six friends I’ve made in the protrActed withdrawal community (ssri damage) who’ve committed suicide due to their effect. It’s like complete depersonalization and you don’t feel like anything is real on them. But you don’t realize that your disconnected because your on them. Only in hindsight when you look back and see the carnage they have left. I wish more people would wake up to what these meds are doing to society. But instead every year doctors convince more and more people that they need them. You don’t even need to see a psychiatrist to prescribe them. Freaking nurse practitioners can. And you can’t believe how many kids are now on them. I tried a lot of drugs, cocaine, mdma, weed in my younger years. Nothing comes close to what ssri’s do to fuck up the brain. |

Both systems aim to accomplish the exact same thing - total centralization of power. In a communist system, the state controls everything. In a fascist system, the corporate elite control everything while masquerading as the state. All communist regimes in history were a result of the corporate elite or old money oligarchy first taking control of the politicians and then playing the people against their corporate competitors. It was only the small and middle sized business that lost out, while the monopolies who were too big to fail, continued to thrive under another identity. There has never in the known history of mankind been a communist regime that evolved organically from grassroots. The Alkahest A Meta-sapient Godelian Recursion Engine. Super Fun at Parties. Anonymous Coward User ID: 82684452 United States 05/26/2022 01:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Marijuana Use Causes 7 Fold Increased Risk of Violent Behavior Quoting: Doc Savage Published 20 Mar 2016 Author Douglas Fields Marijuana use and violence New research reported in the journal Psychological Medicine, concludes that continued use of cannabis causes violent behavior as a direct result of changes in brain function that are caused by smoking marijuana over many years. Marijuana use and violence Researchers have long debated a possible link between use of marijuana and violent crime. Many previous studies have linked marijuana use to increased delinquency, aggression, and other psychological disorders. From a pharmacological perspective this makes sense, because cannabis inhibits neural circuits in the prefrontal cortex that control impulsive behaviors and self-control. In addition, long-term use of cannabis, especially in adolescent years, can cause long-term changes in brain development, including an increased risk of schizophrenia. The sticky problem in such studies are the many confounding factors involved in interpreting this correlation. It is very difficult to determine whether any statistical correlation between marijuana use and violent behavior are causally linked, or instead the two are associated through some other factor, such as socioeconomic status, personality traits, or many other variables that are related to the propensity to use marijuana. Moreover, the causal relation between smoking pot and violent behavior could be in exactly the opposite direction. That is, individuals who are involved in violence or who commit criminal offenses may also be people who are more open to using marijuana. After all, marijuana is an illegal substance in most places, so people with antisocial personality traits and those with tendencies toward lawlessness may be the type of individuals inclined to be more open to obtaining and using the illegal substance. What makes this new study more compelling than previous studies is that the researchers followed the same individuals for over 50 years from a young age to adulthood. This is precisely what one needs to do to solve the chicken or egg riddle with respect to cannabis and violence: just look and see which one happens first. These subjects were in the Cambridge Study in Delinquent Development, comprised of 411 boys who were born around 1953 and living in working-class urban neighborhoods of London. 97% of them were Caucasian and all of them were raised in two-parent households. The researchers took into consideration other factors, including antisocial traits, alcohol use, other drug use, cigarette smoking, mental illnesses, and family history. The statistics showed that most of the participants never used cannabis and they were never reported to have violent behavior. 38% of the participants did try cannabis at least once in their life. Most of them experimented with cannabis in their teens, but then stopped using it. However, 20% of the boys who started using pot by age 18 continued to use it through middle age (32-48 years).
