She was underage. I forgot that. In any case I don't think cops should be able to arrest people sleeping in their car and charge them with a DUI.

What you fail to understand is that before there were cameras everywhere, they would have beaten the fuck out of her, probably with their night sticks, to make her more submissive. They likely would have rapped her across the knuckles with their night sticks...breaking her fingers. I don't have a problem with that at all. Better than having people running around thinking they can disobey cops and do whatever they feel like doing.

I wasn't going to watch a 25 min vid but, it was like a huge traffic accident that ya rubberneck to watch and I watched the whole thing.

after a minute of that mouth alarm all I could think of is John Wayne picking her up and throwing her in a horse trough to shock her to some sense and turn that mouth siren off.

With that, yeah, she was sleeping in the back seat.Leave her be. Her friends called the cops. Cops could have given the 'friends' time to get her in their car to bring her home. Then if refusing to do so then yes, cops should step in. I see no problem with what they did other than not giving the friends a chance to bring her home.

Agreed. There was no need of this shit show and if anything, the violated her constituional and civil rights since she wasn't breaking the law by being asleep in the back of the car. Now, instead of a simple hangover and learning her lesson from that her life will be turned upside down and they might well have exposed her to domestic violence at home. She's not drinking like this because she has a happy home life.

Then, when she got kidnapped later, I'm sure the cops would've been just fine when it was discovered they responded to a call, had the girl wasted on body cam footage and left her there alone.
