You can invent a simple thing for only your own enjoyment, you can learn to sew things, it doesn't matter if you are a woman or a man, because this is something men and women do, it is not just for women, make things that you may need. Wood work it also is not just for men, it also for women. Learn to can food it not just for women, it is also for men. There is art work and no you don't have to be a super artist to do it, you can find books for starters, I used to teach others how to see the shapes in nature, cycles, I say frowns and smiles for two sides of a leaf, wave like a sideways S there are all kinds of shapes repeated in all nature man and woman, plants and their covering, also straight lines, and you can make them with object if you can do it without using them. All you have to do is look for them before you really start doing it, you will start seeing the shapes. Of course, painting pictures can be fun and entertaining if you aren't a perfectionist.

If I feel a little bored, it fixes broken things, like sewing machines, things that just quit, and I like to fix these things, boring it is not. If I get frustrated, I walk away and then what I need to do to fix it comes to my mind.

There are so many things a person could do it is amazing, and you don't have to be the perfectest to-do them because it for you, not for anyone else. I play solitaire, it is on the computer, I guess at how many times I pick the hand that is the one that wins, I look for the patterns the program is set with, works fine so far, not just one I do several.
